He offered a message of hope and has failed to deliver. The Liberals are grasping at any possibility they could be the alternative, but the public has been soured by that party's treatment of the public when in power before. I would love for The Greens to step in as the true alternative for the Left, but they still feel too single-issue-y for me to think they can step up and take the mantle of running a nation.
